Measure and analmaharyze the impact of trade openness on economic growth in Iraq for the period (2004-2014)
Pages 135-153
Assis. Lec. Raad M. N., Researcher Qutaiba Mahar M.
Abstract Taking the concept of trade openness to the outside increasingly important in recent times in view of the interest in the development process in most countries of the world, it is the openness of trade policy dumping the domestic market for goods and goods from the thorny and complex issues faced by most developing countries, including Iraq, as is trade opening one phenomenon of economic dependency standards which is relevant in the context of the capitalist system.Aim of the research is to measure and analyze the relationship between trade openness and economic growth in Iraq for the period (2004-2014) and reach the record results of the analysis to look for the following:1. alachtbar Statistical Pearson:A. correlation between trade openness and the average per capita GDP in US dollars and the average per capita GDP in Iraqi dinars and GDP in Iraqi dinars at constant prices and national income in Iraqi dinars is an inverse relationship and moral meaning it greater trade openness The lower this indicators.B. The correlation between trade openness and the unemployment rate is a direct correlation and moral that whenever any opening up of trade, the more the unemployment rate rose in Iraq.. 2 Estimate the regression equations:estimated four regression equations for each dependent variable and after subjecting statistical and economic tests, and the standard was selected equations and the results were as follows:If increased trade openness and one unit leads to a decrease in the average per capita GDP in US dollars increased by (250.0) US dollars and to the decline in average per capita GDP in Iraqi dinars by (200.0) million, and a decline in gross domestic product prices fixed amount (733.0) million, to the national income of the Iraqi dinar drop of (250.0) million, and an increase in the unemployment rate by (0.007), and recommended search the need for a trade protection policy and national production support through grants, loans and taxing Kmarkip goods contained and that can be produced locally and the trend towards commodity and service exports in the development of Iraq's largely outweigh imports of goods and services and avoid the phenomenon of economic dependency, by working to build and expand the production and export base.
The causal relationship between economic growth and the production of electric power Iraq's case study for the period (1971-2011)
Pages 154-179
. .
Abstract The aim of the research is to determine the direction of the causal relationship between economic growth and electricity production by using Iraq's annual data for the period (1971-2011). To achieve the objectives research, The Akaike Information Criterion was used to determine the deceleration periods. The Granger Causality test and Variation Decomposition also have applied. The results showed there is a one-way causal relationship from the economic growth to the production of electric power, and This relationship appears in long-run. The Variable (DGDP_PrC) which reflects economic growth which its data are stabilized at the first difference "D" in the fluctuations in electricity production which symbolizes it by (DD EL_ PRO) which its data are stabilized at the second difference "DD", Has contributed about 48% according to the analysis of the components of the variance, thus the research concluded that the increase in electricity production depends on economic growth and that the improvement in economic growth should be directed towards improving the production of the electricity sector.

Pages 180-209
lec.Dr. Ghassan Ghandour
Abstract This study aims to show the measurement and managing of interest rate risk (IRR) in the private banks in Syria, as determined by the Central Bank of Syria, and study the effects of volatilities of interest rates on the bank's profit indicators (Income Statement) and the economic value of a bank (Balance Sheet). For realization of the scopes of the study and for testing its assumptions, it has been applied a comparative case study on the Bank of Syria and Overseas (BSO)The conclusion stated that the administration of private banks use the maturity gap method to measure the IRR , but it's not adequate to show the effects of the IRR on the financial values of assets and liabilities , and so on the owners equities (capital). So it's not relevant and not enough to make long term decisions. In the other hand the alternative method of "Duration Gap" is more relevant to show these effects on capital, so it's more accurate especially in the long term.

Abstract The deals with identification operation fitting model for the dynamic system it is one of the critical issues, and become identification operation more complication and difficulty in the states non-stationary dynamic system, this system appear for workpeople in different scientific field whether in medicine as system work breast or wateriness armory and sea motion system and other than. The paper deals with two procedure from identification procedures non stationary dynamic system and limitation approach recursive identification and segmentation approach data by using applied tactics emulation and comparison operation dependence of realization many of condition statistical and engineering and cod given segmentation approach results best than recursive identification approach.

Abstract In this research suggest the construction of quality control charts for parameters of simple linear regression and the mean squares error (Linear Profile Monitoring) depending on robust estimators (M-Estimator), which was estimated weights through a bi-square function and then compare them with the classical charts that depend on the method of ordinary least squares (OLS) when there an outlier values for randomly generated data (Simulation) have a normal distribution, for this purpose, the program language MATLAB design and research concluded that the proposed charts more accurate than of classical charts.
