Abstract

The study titled (The status quo of implementing quality of work life (QWL) programs from the point of view of senior managers in Alsalam teaching hospital in Mosul /An exploratory study) aims at expounding the level of implementing both traditional and modern quality of work life programs in the investigated organization besides presenting accurate information concerning the aspects of strength and weaknesses in implementing the aforementioned programs and promoting the level of their implementation.The study relayed on a checklist as a main tool for collecting the study's data, therefore (16) copy of the checklist were distributed among a number of senior managers in Alsalam teaching hospital in Mosul. Based on the analysis of results, the study reached a number of conclusions including a variance in implementation between traditional and modern quality of work life programs in the investigated organization ranging from weak to strong according to the opinions of senior managers. The study also recommended that the organizations' management should adopt methods that can aid them in positively promoting the level of implementation of quality of work life programs in the investigated organization while overcoming the weakness in implementation through continuous review and assessment.
