Abstract
This research came to demonstrate the role that can be perform by water demand management in poverty alleviation, the research had also offer the reality of water resources, and how to use, with display the size of demand for it, also the analytical part has include the display of poverty indices in Arab countries, the research has found that the Arab Region suffers severely from a lack in their water resources, with the poor efficiency in the management of demand for these resources, in time of increasing water demand due to the population growth in Arab countries, the climate changes which hit the whole world has left an important impacts on the water's level, in terms of decreasing rainfall rates and the river's level, which have a direct impact in increasing the poor's suffering and increase their conditions badly, and the most recommendations which made by the research is, the need for an agreements make by the Arab countries for sharing the river's water with the coastal States on the common rivers, and also the Arab countries need to apply the integrated management systems of water resources, and adopt the economic and social foundations for the use of water, and adopt an advanced methodologies to assess the effects of climate change.
