Abstract

The research discusses the united monetary currency project to be made in Arab Gulf region and problems stand against its application. As well as to economic impacts which may the project leaves in total economic activities in these countries.
The research aimed at studying and analyzing the united monetary currency, the hurdles facing its application, and the mechanisms to overcome them. The research starts from a hypothesis that; adopting united monetary currency has its positive reflections on the economies of the Arab Gulf countries, but this is conditioned with the gathering of the economic monetary indicators. As well as to the impacts of this project upon the economies of these countries .The research covered the period(2000-2008).
The research concluded with several conclusions the most important of them. The disparity of inflation rates and the in various production structures are regarded among the most important problems facing the united monetary currency. The researcher presented several suggestions which suit the conclusions of the research.
