Abstract

The research touched on the role of civil society organizations in the development of crafts and handicrafts in Iraq, acquainted with the trades and handicrafts, and the role of civil society organizations in supporting and strengthening the competitive position of these industries and their role in the absorption of unemployment and alleviating economic and social problems resulting therefrom.
The research adopted a descriptive approach to the variables of civil society organizations in terms of youth development and concept, also addressed the search and handicraft industries in terms of concept, characteristics and importance.
Search resulted in a set of conclusions and proposals which we hope will contribute to upgrading the performance of civil society organizations and upgrading by industries and handicrafts.
