Abstract
This research aims to identify the trends of development in the Jordanian foreign trade and its effects on its economic performance, based on the premise that there are positive effects of foreign trade on both sides of exports and imports and its components, particularly of capital, and intermediate in the performance of Jordan’s economy, the research three sections, the first dealing with the main features of the Jordanian economy, and the second section, about the analyzing cares trends in the development of foreign trade and its components, and the third section focuses on the analyzing the assessment results of the impact of foreign trade and the components of its exports and its imports of goods in the Jordan’s economic performance for the period (1995-2014), depending on the descriptive and quantitative analyzes to identify and quantify these effects.
