Analysis of the impact of the exchange rate on foreign direct investment in the Iraqi economy for the period 2004-2021

Abstract
The research refers to analyzing and measuring the impact of the exchange rate on foreign direct investment in Iraq during the period 2004-2021, as the relationship between them indicates that the changes caused by the exchange rate of the dinar contributed to attracting and encouraging foreign investments by raising the value of the local currency, which will increase the profits of investors in the market. As a result of the high demand for products, the results showed that there is a statistically significant relationship and a direct and significant response between the exchange rate and foreign direct investment. The remaining percentage (7%) represents the effect of other external variables outside the model.
